The Stephen King inspired ‘Castle Rock’ debuts + the return of Attack On Titan, OiTNB, and Sick NoteDan BarrettJuly 29, 2018Newsletter - Always Be WatchingWhat's new + returning0 Comments 0 I’ve been waiting for Castle Rock to debut for months and months now. I’m not a huge Stephen King fan, having read just a handful of his books, and adaptations of his work have had a long track record of being mostly terrible with just a few good films/shows in the mix. So, a series that blends together multiple characters and themes from his many, many books is an audacious exercise in television, but also one that could go horribly wrong. And I am absolutely there to watch this high wire act regardless of which way it goes. This week also brings Attack On Titan back to our screens. The first two TV series were fantastic. And that live-action movie was horrendously bad, yet still very watchable. It’s a great week for genre/dorky TV and I could not be more excited.
