Re: "I’d suggest it is also worth noting that quotas on streamers to make local product will also cause costs to go up as it puts pressure on access to sound stages and other production facilities. If you think that nine hours of content from local networks is low now…"

Wouldn't local business rush in to build more stages, lease equipment, etc... to meet demand?

I'm also wondering in addition to Hubbl (which would probably happen concurrently) whether Foxtel puts Max on their iQ4/iQ5 set top boxes. After all there'd be more iQ set top boxes out there than Hubbls. And while they are at it add Plex. Plex is awful close to breaching the top 10 apps on the tvOS/Apple TV App Store lately I notice when I update my apps. I have a bit of self interest here. Would make things much easier for me if my parents and grandparents could access Plex on their iQ5s. Oh and Spotify too. Get it done Foxtel!

Also in regards to kids and YouTube. I babysit my nieces and nephew occasionally. 6, 7 and 10 years old. All they want to watch is YouTube. And they are barred from watching it when I babysit on order of their parents. They may as well be reading a book watching Netflix, Plex or Disney+. In other words for them they don't really wanna be doing that by choice.
