The only awards show worth a damn (faint praise)

ALSO: The new crop of White Lotus cast members have been announced.

In just a few hours time, the Golden Globes are being awarded. Personally, I have a real problem with the fact the awards are owned by the same company that controls all of the major industry publications (THR, Deadline, Variety).

Can one really afford not to spend money on For Your Consideration advertising with Penske Media if they want a Golden Globe?
