Why won't Netflix disrupt the Oscars?

The Outstanding Television Movie category at the Emmy Awards is just sitting there, barely being noticed

Netflix is the great disruptor. First it came for what was left of the video store with distribution of DVD by mail. Then it became HBO faster than it could become them. Then it impacted on movies. Then it became NBC faster than the NBC-owned Peacock could become them. Etc etc.
